Exciting things have been afoot in the virtual world with Cooroy’s online presence getting a revamp and upgrade.

The highly popular Cooroy website has had a top to tail refurbishment with a great new look and more features than ever before. This website attracts approximately 40,000 visits per month which is a great achievement and promotes Cooroy in a very positive way. The most popular pages are the What’s On Calendar and the Business Directory and these pages are likely to get even more usage now they have a new look and easier navigation.

In addition, the Cooroy Facebook page has been a great success. In just its first year it has nearly reached 2,000 fans and is always a great source of information about what is happening in and around town.

The Cooroy App is also constantly growing with more people downloading it onto their mobile devices and more information about events and specials being updated every day.

When you add in the printed guide to Cooroy, the Kurui which is going to be redesigned and printed early in the New Year there is a fantastic wealth of information available to visitors and locals alike.

The Cooroy Chamber of Commerce proudly runs all of these projects for the town making these great community assets that reflect the diversity and natural assets of Cooroy and surrounding areas.

The benefits are obvious for businesses too as the Cooroy Chamber’s Platinum membership package now provides one of the most comprehensive benefits and advertising packages of any Chamber with promotion across all of these platforms for the one low fee of $270/year.

“All of these initiatives are aimed at promoting Cooroy to locals and visitors alike. We are really lucky to have just about everything you need right at your fingertips and our aim with the Cooroy website, App, Facebook and Kurui is to encourage people to shop locally and support our local businesses so that Cooroy will continue to be a strong and thriving community into the future,” said Cooroy Chamber of Commerce President, Danielle Taylor.

“The Cooroy Chamber is a really strong chamber with over 130 members and it has been running as a not for profit organisation for over 30 years achieving a multitude of projects during that time. It is because of the fantastic support from the businesses, a huge volunteer effort and great support from all levels of government that the Chamber continues to go from strength to strength. One of the best things you can do for your business is join as not only does it benefit your business but it benefits the community too.”
