Get Adventurous at Cooroy Fusion Festival

Cooroy Fusion Festival always has something new and exciting on show and this year the Rock Climbing Wall & Bungy Trampoline is sure to stir up the adrenaline on Saturday 12 May!

“This new attraction is thanks to Raine & Horne Noosa Hinterland who have been great sponsors of the festival over the years and are always looking to sponsor something exciting and fun,” explained event organiser, Chris Bell.

As with almost everything at Cooroy Fusion, this adventurous activity is free and is great for all ages.  There are different routes on the walls to cater for all abilities – regardless of whether you have never strapped on a climbing harness before or you are an experienced rock climber.  The bungy trampolines add that extra bit of fun and offer up great entertainment for all ages.

The rock wall can take 80 climbers in an hour and the bungy trampolines which are attached to the wall can accommodate an additional 40 people per hour so there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone to have a turn.

“We are so excited to again be major sponsors for this festival because it is such a fun event and so satisfying to see the entire community come together and celebrate.  We’ve sponsored some great attractions at past Fusion Festivals, but this could be the best yet!” said Michael Robinson from Raine & Horne Noosa Hinterland.

Some of the other activities at Cooroy Fusion Festival include the Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank Entertainment Tent; Noosa Council Cooroy Library activities; Cooroy RSL Pickled Possum Bar; Cooroy IGA Tastes of the Hinterland Marquee; Wythes Real Estate Mother’s Day Activities; Tourism Noosa sand sculptor Dennis Massoud; and Greenwood Grove Geckoes Wildlife Show.

There is also the Noosa District Orchid & Foliage Society Annual Show in the Memorial Hall, displays at Cooroora Woodworkers, Cooroy Camphor Laurel, and the Butter Factory Arts Centre; plus market stalls and many other free activities such as rides, face painting and a great entertainment program, none of which would be possible without the generous sponsorships from the Cooroy Rag, Cooroy Chamber of Commerce, Suttons Cleaning Service, Cooroy Service Centre, Gelignite Jacks, Mower & ATV Solutions, Cartwrights Lawyers, Sunny Coast Accountants, Palm Lake Resort, Cooroy Hotel, John Madill Toyota, SPM Law, Hinternoosa Real Estate and Katie’s Ark.

For the dedicated community members that make this festival, fun, fabulous and free, Fiona Winter Realty are providing support with a special volunteer pack including a t-shirt and other goodies for all the volunteers.
