It has once again been reported that men posing as road workers and approaching Cooroy residents and offering to repair bitumen driveways with left over bitumen from job sites.
Once an agreement is reached the workers then repair potholes and damaged driveway surfaces with the workmanship being of very poor quality.
At the end of the job the males usually demand more money, sometimes double to that agreed upon and use standover tactics if there work is questioned.
If any person is approached by these individuals please contact the police immediately so as an investigation can be commenced.
