Over 80 people gathered at the Cooroy State School last night for the Cooroy Chamber of Commerce’s annual networking night. Stories were swapped, new connections were made and everyone had a great evening.
“The Cooroy Chamber networking nights are always really popular and there is an amazing diversity of businesses and organisations that attend. It was a great night and we’ve already had some fantastic feedback from attendees,” said Cooroy Chamber of Commerce President, Danielle Taylor.
“The Cooroy Chamber of Commerce continues to go from strength to strength with over 140 members now and growing. We have a really hard working volunteer executive committee that continue to ensure our members get a lot of value. As well as our networking nights we also host many other meetings and events and also offer our members promotion via the Cooroy website which gets 10,000 visits per week, the Cooroy Facebook page which has a reach of about 8000 each week, the Cooroy Guide which we are printing 5000 of this year and the Cooroy App which gets about 6000 tab visits per week. It’s all about getting people to think local, support local, shop local so that we continue to have a strong vibrant community which in turn provides a strong economic base for businesses – it is a win for everyone that way.”
