Cooroy Fusion Calls for Sponsors

cooroy fusionCircle your calendars folks, the annual Cooroy Fusion Festival will be held on Saturday 13 May 2017 at the Lower Mill Precinct.  Each year, the volunteer organising committee seem to pull bigger and better rabbits out of the hat making this free community event one of the highlights of the Cooroy events calendar.  They’ve just opened up the sponsorship program and urging sponsors to get on board quickly to ensure they get maximum benefit from the program.

“Cooroy Fusion Festival is a great community event and our sponsorship packages are very popular because it’s an event that sponsors see as providing a real benefit to Cooroy plus the sponsorship packages are really attractive.  Sponsors get great exposure from the event but they also get a few perks like invites to our functions and advertising on the digital screen in the lead up to the event,” said chairman of the Fusion organising committee, Chris Bell.

Organised by the Cooroy Future Group Inc, Cooroy Fusion is a free one-day festival showcasing the best of the Noosa Hinterland and including Cooroy Library, Butter Factory Arts Centre, Noosa District Orchid Society, Camphor Laurel Timber Initiative and Cooroora Woodworkers plus local food, crafts, arts and entertainment galore!  There is something for all ages and tastes!

Local businesses have already jumped at the chance to be involved with confirmed festival partners including Noosa Council providing funds through the community grants program and Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank sponsoring the entertainment tent which is again set to have a full day of fantastic performers and shows to keep the entire family entertained.  Platinum sponsors already on board include Greenwood Grove and Cooroy Chamber of Commerce; Gold Sponsors include Suttons Cleaning Service, Wimmers Soft Drinks, Raine and Horne, John Madills and Gelignite Jacks and taking up Silver Sponsorship are Chapmans Auto Repairs and McDermott Aviation.
