  1. Minutes of Last Meeting

Minutes of the last meeting on 11 November are on the website: www.cooroy.com.au

  1. Actions arising from the minutes:
  • Danielle to follow up regarding RV and sealing of car park.
  • Crossing is scheduled for the next Council budget
  • Sponsor a Star. 8 special stars were sponsored for 2015
  • Danielle purchased the new 6×3 marquee. It was used well at Christmas in Cooroy and will be well used at future chamber events
  1. Treasurer’s Report:

Unofficial report presented – approx $25,000 in cheque account

And $25,000 in Term Deposit. Still approx $7,000 for Kurui to be paid.

  1. Meetings

Attended:

  • Danielle, Andy and Sasha attended a meeting regarding Neato secretarial support. Danielle reported that for this to work for chamber we would need to share with another organisation. You can access either access 15hr or 24 hr a week, need a place to work, a supervisor.

Forthcoming:

  • Cooroy Memorial Hall Wed 9 Dec 6.30pm Cooroy RSL
  • Chamber Exec talked about the hall being transferred to council with a community advisory group similar to CLMB.
  • MOTION: Carol Christensen moved that Danielle move a motion at the hall meeting regarding this.

Another fantastic Christmas in Cooroy, lots of positive feedback well done Christmas in Cooroy committee. Great response to parade entrants.

Considering laser lights for shops next year.

2 bollards are missing Action. Danielle to check with SES

  • Kurui at printers, possible ready before Christmas
  • Chamber Christmas Party. Thanks to Tanya for organising and Cooroy RSL for catering. Chamber members enjoyed a Christmas get together. Maybe next year we go back to finger food or small plates so people can socialise more.
