Noosa Council is asking for public participation in the new master plan for Noosa Botanic Gardens at Lake Macdonald in Cooroy.
The Noosa Botanic Gardens, on the shores of Lake MacDonald, is one of the Shire’s hidden gems. It has been transformed from a derelict dumping ground to a picturesque parkland through the on-going partnership of many friends and volunteers.
As the Gardens approaches its 30th birthday, it is fitting to now look to the future .This online survey is the first step in the development of the Master Plan process.
Completed surveys will be collected during February- March 2017 (the survey closes April 3rd) and used to compile a draft Master Plan. A community workshop on the draft Master Plan is planned for April 2017.
The Botanic Gardens Master Plan will be developed in partnership with the community and will outline the vision for the next 5 years. These are exciting times for the Gardens. We look forward to your feedback and your ideas for the future.
The online survey can be accessed here or paper copies of the survey are also available at libraries, Council offices and at the Botanic Gardens at Lake MacDonald. Surveys can be returned to any of these venues or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your participation in shaping the future of Noosa’s Botanic Gardens.
