Cooroy Police Advise High Alert

Cooroy Police advise that people living on rural and semi-rural properties in the areas which may include but not limited to the vicinity of Nandroya Road, Eumundi Range Rd, Cooroy Mountain Rd and Lukes Rd be on high alert for a male and female who are driving a white van or white station wagon similar in appearance to a Subaru Forester up driveways for bogus reasons and once it is established that no person is home they will then attempt an unlawful entry.

These persons are believed to be linked to a Break and Enter offence on Cooroy Mountain Rd that occurred on Friday the 19th May where cash and jewellery were targeted and also an attempted offence on Lukes Rd off Mountain Road on the 20th.

These offences are occurring during the day between about 10am and 3pm and they may also be parking on the side of roads then walking into properties. Please be extra vigilant and report all suspicious behaviour to Cooroy Police on 54425030 or Triple 0 or Policelink on 131444.
