  1. Guest Presentation: Doug Claydon – Cooroy RV Submission

Doug advised Ray was not available.  Doug and Ray have been working on a report and submission to Council regarding Cooroy RV park. Noosa Council advised them that the report/submission should come through Cooroy Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber agrees that the RV park is good for the town and business. The chamber has no authority to work with car club or pony club on matters regarding RV this should be done by council. Both of these groups add to the Cooroy community and its imperative the Noosa council work with them to resolve issues and make the RV stop an attractive location for RV’s.

Motion: Danielle Taylor moved a motion that chamber adds a cover letter to the report stating the items that the chamber agrees and noting that the report was written by Doug and Ray as individuals. Seconded by Carol Christensen.  All in favour.

Doug also asked about an information centre at RV stop which is part of their report. Chamber supports an information centre but is the RV stop the best place or should it be more central? Chamber also noted that the RV stop should be on the Noosa Hinterland Trail Map.
